Liberal Reaction to the Election

You've seen the crying. You've seen the rants. Colleges are canceling exams, offering therapy dogs and places for students to play with Play-Doh and clay to help them deal with their emotions - I'm not joking. Now we are seeing protests and riots. Some are calling for real violence.

Folks, this is why these people can't be trusted to lead. Their emotions make them irrational!

The Day After: Return of the Prodigal Sons (and Daughters)

Now that the 2016 election is over and Donald Trump is the president-elect, the long parade of "Never Trumpers", Republican establishment types, and RINOs are slinking back home like the "Prodigal Son." Hopefully for them, Mr. Trump will be as magnanimous as the father in Christ's parable.

A President Hillary Clinton Would Bring The Best Policies...

money can buy. American, foreign, US ally, US enemy, business, political, makes no difference. The highest bidder wins - The Clintons. America loses.

It's just that simple.

Which is Better: Trump Wealth or Clinton Wealth?

Hillary criticizes Trump for getting rich while providing jobs for poor people in developing countries; Trump criticizes Hillary for becoming wealthy by providing aid to poor people in developing countries while taking a cut of course and taking $250,000 an hour speaking fees from Goldman Sachs and other Wall St firms all the while railing against Wall St greed. According to Hillary that's the going rate so it's okay. Which argument speaks to you says a lot about your sense of right and wrong.

Hillary Defies; Redefines the Peter Principle

Most are at least somewhat familiar with the Peter Principle which was described by Dr. Laurence J. Peter in his 1968 book "The Peter Principle" and is usually quoted as something like, an employee will rise or get promoted to his or her level of incompetence.

From her first job as a staffer on the House Judiciary committee investigating Watergate to her tenure as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton has managed to defy the Peter Principle every step of the way. It's more than that however. She has actually managed to redefine the Peter Principle. Despite the fact that she is incompetent and is seen, even by her supporters, as dishonest, untrustworthy, and a liar, it seems that when it comes to their support for Hillary, the top principle is her lack of a Peter Principle.

Trump Disaster vs Hillary Disaster

If a Trump presidency leads to disaster, it will be because he doesn't know what he is doing; with Hillary, it will be because she does!

Republicans in Danger of Letting Losing Become Habit

Americans appreciate the ability to lose with grace but when losing becomes a habit, their feelings turn from respect to disgust. Republicans need to keep this and the following in mind as they consider their options for the future.

Conspiracy Theories Are A Sad Indictment of Our System

I think the volume of conspiracy theories on the Internet is an indicator in the level of distrust the  people have for its government. This was very apparent in Tunisia where I lived for four years and we know how that turned out.

The death of Justice Scalia  has caused a spike of conspiracy theories and otherwise serious people seem to entertain the possibility that someone or group may have  had him assassinated for political reasons.

This shows our slide into "Third Worldism" folks and it is very sad!

Republican Primary Tactic for Opposing Hillary

It has been 6 months since my last post. I took some time to finish a second master’s degree but now with that out of the way, it’s back to Carnivore!

So Hillary Clinton is running for president. No surprise there and chances are she will have little opposition from fellow Democrats. However, if the Democrat Party nominates Hillary, they will be backing a profoundly flawed candidate.

In contrast, the Republican Party will have a large field of perhaps twenty candidates vying for their party’s nomination. There are about 14 months until the Republican National Convention where the Republican candidate will be chosen and in that time, it is essential that those seeking the nomination refrain from sniping at each other. To do so would result in a weakened opponent emerging to face Hillary in the general election. Remember Reagan’s Eleventh Commandment: Thou shall not speak ill of another Republican.

A much better course of action would be to apply the military tactic of concentration of firepower - that is: all the Republican primary candidates focus their efforts against Hillary. The candidate that most effectively attacks the record and capability of Hillary will earn the right to face her in the general election without being bloodied by their fellow Republicans. The challenge will be for the GOP primary candidates to resist the urge to attack each other.

In my next post, I will discuss Hillary’s biggest vulnerability – her complete lack of understanding of economics.

Democrat Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016 is a GOP Dream!

I don’t care how brilliant you may think she is. Or how qualified you might consider her to be. You can claim she has had many successes as First Lady, US Senator, and Secretary of State – the mountain of evidence to the contrary. It is hard to deny that Hillary is the darling of the liberal media and they are already hard at work trying to rehabilitate her tarnished image following the Benghazi scandal. They would love to have her as the Democrat Presidential nominee for 2016 and so would I! This woman is lugging around more baggage than a skycap at BWI but listing her numerous disasters as a public servant, her involvement in countless personal and professional scandals, and her significant list of non-accomplishment won’t be enough to keep her from being elected our next president. No, there are enough low information voters in New York and California, dead people in Chicago, non-Ohio resident voters in Ohio and illegal aliens … well everywhere else to steal the election for her. But to them and anyone else who might consider voting for her, I offer the following. If you are a mother or father, brother, sister, friend or neighbor to anyone, would you really want someone who could say this about somebody else’s loved ones to be your next president?

If I was Chairman of the Republican National Committee in the run-up to the 2016 election, this would be my ad campaign against Hillary and I’d pay to have it run on a continuous loop! If she still managed to get elected, then America is in far worse shape then even I imagined.
