Is Sen Kamala Harris on to Something?
In Rep Mike Pompeo's Senate confirmation hearing, the CIA Director nominee was asked a wide range of pertinent questions by his Republican colleagues and a few of the Democrats; questions like like his views on Russia, cyber security, ISIS, China, Iran, etc. By contrast, in her first Senate hearing, Kamala Harris (D-CA) the new Senator elected to replace the retiring Barbara Boxer asked about climate change. Could Harris actually be on to something? Do we need the CIA to spy on the planet in order to figure out what it is up to? Grown ups know the answer.

I actually think that Senator Kamala Harris is laying out a plan to run for president in 2020. Only a progressive like her would ask such nonsensical questions. John Kerry is a walking disgrace. He, and the president, and Gina McCarthy and other fear-mongers in this administration have actually made speeches that climate change is the biggest challenge this world faces. President Obama lectured the graduating cadets at the Coast Guard Academy on May 20, 2015 on the dangers of climate change. I'm sure that their graduation was somehow tainted by the President's comments. I would have thought that a nuclear Iran, terrorists who are waging war, unrest in the Middle East, and poverty, hunger and other issues caused by rampant liberalism here in the U.S. would be more important. Just take a look at the violence in St. Louis, Milwaukee, Baltimore, et al. I guess that doesn't mean a thing to the president since he never speaks about it. ReplyDeleteJohn Kerry said in this video at a conference US-A-FRICA dares to go in front of people who live on a starving continent without enough food and water and lecture them that they should not create more farms to feed themselves because it will release "carbon pollution." Who the hell is he kidding? If I hadn't seen the video, I thought it may have been a creation of The Onion.
Let's get something straight: when these anti-science, anti-enlightened, anti-humanity barbarians are talking about "carbon pollution," they are actually talking about carbon dioxide. This is not a pollutant; carbon dioxide is necessary for a process we call photosynthesis. This is the process by which carbon dioxide is turned into what we call air, so that we can do something we call breathe.
The arrogance with which they talk down to people is almost beyond belief. Global warming. Are they that stupid?
The last thing the people of Africa need is a lecture from a brain dead American traitor like John "I make my money the old fashioned way, I marry it" Kerry. What they need is food. And what better way for them to get it than by learning to be self sufficient at the same time? Progressives really are just socialistic marxist-communists. A more despicable, dishonorable administration we have not had. Ketchup boy and the rest of his ilk should disappear off the face of this planet! (At least out of the country).
By the way, the greenhouse gas emissions from farming, globally, is only 5%. according to Iowa State University. who knows a little bit about farming, agriculture and carbon dioxide.

ReplyDeleteTim, this is their religion; their way to find meaning to their existence. The earth is God; mankind is Satan and America is where he dwells so it must be destroyed. Climate Change is just their surreptitious way of doing it. The Left tries to inject it into every aspect of the human condition and they are relentless. Over the last eight years, they have been pushed back politically. Hopefully they will suffer similar reversals in the academic, judicial and bureaucratic arenas.
