Regarding Gorsuch

Judge Neil Gorsuch from the 10th Circuit of the US Court of Appeals was nominated this evening by President Trump to the US Supreme Court. He was unanimous confirmed by the Senate for his current position. Despite this, he will be fiercely opposed by Senate Democrats and he is already being called "way outside the mainstream of legal thought" and as having "extreme views" by the likes of Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY).

My questions are:
Senator, are you lying now when you say he is unfit or were you lying then when you said he was because you can't have it both ways?
Is there new information or did you just fail to do the proper "Due Diligence" before giving Gorsuch your approval back in 2006?

Pardon me Senator, I didn't catch that. Would you mumble your response again, please?

  1. This is going to be a very contentious appointment. The Dems, as usual, would oppose anyone that is not an appointment by a Dem president. This from Senator Elizabeth Warren: “Before even joining the bench, he advocated to make it easier for public companies to defraud investors. As a judge, he has twisted himself into a pretzel to make sure the rules favor giant companies over workers and individual Americans. He has sided with employers who deny wages, improperly fire workers, or retaliate against whistleblowers for misconduct. He has ruled against workers in all manner of discrimination cases. And he has demonstrated hostility toward women’s access to basic health care." Let's have popcorn and watch!

  2. I would love to see someone ask Warrren, who herself is wholly unqualified for her own position by the way, to substantiate those accusations. I guarantee she doesn't have the chops.
The Dems are going to self-emulate over a nominee that doesn't change the balance of the Court - he replaces conservative Scalia after all - and ruins their chances for opposing Trump's next nominee who will. Their frustration is destroying their one major strength - political savvy.

    1. Ken, that's the problem. No accountability on the left. And people who yell and scream like Warren and now Tim Kaine, the lefties cheer them. SOS Tillerson's first address today was inspiring. He said that "everyone is going to be accountable" under his leadership. It's nice to see that after eight years, we have adults running State.
